The Alan Greene Band
Cleveland-based guitarist Alan Greene is a veteran of the Northeast Ohio Blues who has entertained audiences for decades. He has played with major artists including Humble Pie, Michael Stanley, Donnie Iris, and Pere Ubu. Greene’s favorite local artists include the James Gang, the late Glenn Schwartz (a Kent Blues Fest veteran), Mr. Stress Blues Band, and the Raspberries. His first band (the Gang Green) opened for Kenny Rogers and The First Edition in 1966! Recently he was the host of oWow radio’s Sunday night blues show.
